How It Works

FROM THE TERRAIN TO THE ORDER

No branching multiple-choice menus. No narrator telling you what happened. Just the same information a real commander had, and a decision only you can make.

01

Choose Your Scenario

Purchase access to a battlefield experience. Fredericksburg is live now, and more campaigns are on the way.

02

Travel to the Battlefield

Open the app once you're on-site. No GPS tracking required. You're in control of your own pace.

03

Arrive at Each Stop

Walk to the designated terrain location and tap “I’m Here” to begin the briefing for that stop.

04

Get Briefed

Orientation, situation, friendly forces, enemy forces, and key considerations: everything the commander knew at that moment, laid out for you.

05

Consult Your Chief of Staff

Talk through the situation by text or voice. Ask questions, request updates, and stress-test your thinking before you commit.

06

Issue Your Orders

State your intent and your orders. Your Chief of Staff reads them back to confirm before they're final.

07

Discover the Outcome

See what the historical commander actually decided, why, and what happened. Then compare your call to theirs and to other participants.

08

Move to the Next Decision Point

The simulation guides you to the next location, and the situation evolves from there.

The AI Chief of Staff

Talk to your staff. Not a menu.

Your Chief of Staff only knows what someone in that role would have actually known at that exact moment in history. That means every situation report, intelligence update, and terrain clarification stays true to what the real commander had to work with, including the occasional uncertain or delayed report, just like the real thing.

  • ◆ Text or voice conversation, your choice
  • ◆ Challenges your assumptions before you commit
  • ◆ Reads back your final orders for confirmation
Colonel Burns · Chief of Staff Live
General, the situation has changed since your last report. How do you want to proceed?
Give me a status on our supporting units first.
Understood, sir. Here’s what we can confirm, and here’s what we still don’t know…
Understood. Prepare the orders.
Beyond the History Lesson

Every stop teaches a real leadership principle.

Each decision point is built around a command lesson that applies as much today as it did in 1862.
